By booking or using Valo’s services (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Valo provides professional car jockey / designated driver services. Our drivers operate the customer’s own vehicle to transport the customer to their requested destination.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to operate and control the vehicle you provide for the Service.
You confirm that:
- You are the legal owner or authorized user of the vehicle.
- The vehicle is roadworthy, insured, and compliant with Singapore law.
- The vehicle has valid motor insurance that permits third-party drivers.
- You will provide accurate pickup and destination information.
- You will not engage in violent, abusive, illegal, or unsafe conduct.
Valo reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time if:
- The customer behaves in a threatening or unsafe manner.
- The vehicle is deemed unsafe to operate.
- The booking involves unlawful activity.
Customers may be intoxicated; however, aggressive, disruptive, or unlawful behavior will result in immediate termination of service without refund.
All fees must be paid as agreed at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply for waiting time, excessive cleaning, vehicle damage caused by the customer, or route changes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Valo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Valo’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific booking.
- The customer remains responsible for their own vehicle, insurance coverage, and any claims arising under their motor insurance policy.
Customers acknowledge that the vehicle’s own insurance policy applies during the Service. Any accident, damage, or claim shall be handled primarily under the vehicle owner’s motor insurance policy.
Valo shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including traffic, accidents, weather, or government restrictions.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Valo, its drivers, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
Valo reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
